My paintings are made from leather scraps – materials that are normally thrown away, but which I transform into art with a second life. Each piece is one of a kind: bold, stylish, and always unique. Perfect as an eye-catcher in your home, office, or hospitality space. Choose art that is not only beautiful to look at, but also tells a story.
Beauty, abstracting everyday things and creating a harmonious whole from them. Unique mixed media paintings as true eye-catchers with a luxurious appearance, suitable for both business and personal interiors. By using high-quality leather, fabric, and materials, I try to simplify images without the expression disappearing, but rather by enhancing it through the simplicity. The colors and textures have been carefully selected. I continuously challenge myself to create an even more striking composition.
Painting and creating are a common thread. At the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk (B), I delve deeper and refine my techniques. Currently, my painting process has evolved towards working with leather in mixed media paintings.

A painting made of leather is not a traditional painting. It is a layered artwork constructed from carefully selected leftover materials. As an artist, I consciously choose that tension between sleek design and warm, organic material.

In my studio, every work is created by hand. Pieces of leather are cut, arranged, and placed layer by layer until an image emerges that radiates both tranquility and strength. By working exclusively with leftover leather, every artwork is given a second life. In this way, sustainability becomes not merely a trend, but an essential part of the artistic method.
